JIUN was born
from a lifelong fascination with stories not just the ones we tell,
but the ones we wear. To me, jewelry is more than ornamentation.
It’s memory. It’s meaning. It’s identity captured in a form
that can be touched, passed on, & treasured.
I chose to
build JIUN
around coloured gemstones because colour
speaks directly to the soul. Each hue evokes
something different, intimate, and deeply personal.
To me, coloured gems are like people vivid, diverse,
complex, and always beautiful in their own right.
Each stone carries its own resonance,
it's own energy. It’s something that
can be universally meaningful
yet wholly unique to its wearer.
Inspired by the myth of Psyche, this piece tells a story of transformation and freedom — a journey of the soul breaking free from mortal constraints. The butterfly wings represent her release, an awakening into divine form. At its heart lies a vivid blue tanzanite, cradled in a flourish of rose-cut and brilliant-cut diamonds, accented by pink sapphires and mosaic pavé— each element thoughtfully chosen to echo the grace and metamorphosis of Psyche herself.
